Let's be brutally frank here for a minute. I am of a certain age and I have stubbornly tried to do things my way until now and to be honest, I've made a bit of a pigs ear of things - my personal life aside. I've got 'O' Levels and 'A' Levels for sure, why I've even got a degree (a 'Desmond', but a degree nevertheless), but in all of my years of academic achievement and in employment, the one thing that I was missing was... a plan. This applies to my financial dealings too - quite how I haven't managed to default on payments is a miracle, more by luck than good judgment. Living life for the here and now for me hasn't worked, and a few short days ago, I resolved to change. This is the result.
