The Thirty Day Challenge (30DC) 2009

Yes, I know that it's already 2010, but I thought that I should try and get to grips better with the whole internet marketing thing. I've been trying to earn some pennies from affiliate websites for a few months now, but it's slow going. I think (ok, I know) that this is down to one thing - my inability to focus over long on anything.

Well, as I have just tuned 40 and I am planning on taking a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (i.e. teacher training) come September, I though that I'd give the old internet marketing /affiliate marketing one last bash, just to see if I can earn enough cash to subsidise (I know it should have a 'z' but I speak EN-GB) having to go on holiday during the school holidays for the next few years.

I started with the Thirty Day Challenge (30DC) a couple of years ago, and did a few of the steps. However, I was always wanting to get too far ahead, or even worse, only do the bits that I want to do, or do things my way instead of the way that is taught by the 30DC team. So I have the odd website, with upwards of 300 unique visitors per month - gasps of amazement... I also have the odd Hubpage or Squidoo Lens, I even have a blog on WordPress.com and Blogger.com and I write articles for places like ezinearticles.com - as you can see over to the right hand side of this post! But I'm obviously doing things wrong, or not doing enough of the right things, so here we go...

And before I do go for now, because it is bedtime (yawn), I'm feeling all smug because I purposefully waited until the end of January, just to prove that this wasn't going to be one of those New Year's Resolutions, which I usually start on the 1st of January, but end up forgetting all about by the 7th or 8th. So please look out for my report on Day 1 of the Challenge.
